What is jissom?
A euphemism coined by William S. Burroughs, used in the same sense as the metaphor "finding the common thread," albeit implying the 'common thread' is itself something awful; junk addiction, in Burroughs' case.

Jissom - what is it?
1. noun: the whitish fluid produced by the male reproductive organs during ejaculation.
Synonyms: ejaculate.
2. verb: the act of ejaculating semen.
Etymology: possibly from Latin jacere, meaning throw
chiefly British
It seemed like the slippery, sticky jissom was everywhere afterwards. This would turn out to be -- by far -- the most benign of the many consequences he would experience as a result of not using a condom.
