What is gay break?
A person who realizes he or she is gay relatively late in life.
"But... he is a grandfather and a role model for this community. How can he turn gay now?"

Gay break - what is it?
A break, or timeout, from a non-sexual activity that a hetrosexual thinks he is acting or sounds gay. The opposite would be a straight break, where a gay person is performing a non-sexual activity that makes him sound or act like he is straight.
After listening to my recording, which sounds gay to me, I promptly took a break and told a friend I'm on a gay break.
