to eject someone unceremoniously from an interesting Skype or IM conversation.
I was just forked out of the skype. I don't understand why. Was I being annoying? Were you guys about to talk smack about me?

Literally means to leave.
Derives from the Mid-Western phrase "Put a fork in me because I am done".
