Definder - what does the word mean?

What is cussin?

As in, ya either swear BY them, or ya swear AT them. :P

My checkout-clerk friend at Walmart admitted that her cantankerous cash-register was certainly a pain in the you-know-what on frequent occasions, and so it might indeed tempt its operators to indulge in a little computer cussin' once in a while.

Cussin - what is it?

Cussin Bob is the phrase for an american overweight cousin that no one really likes but everyone respects for their blunt unfiltered opinion that is intended to be motivational and make us more productive members of society. Usually dresses in casual comfortable wear like punchline t-shirts and flat bill hats.

I talked to Cussin Bob last week and he told me I need to "get my lazy a** off the couch and spend more quality time being productive instead of shi**ing away my freetime like last night's bowel movement!"

What does "cussin" mean?

The day where cussing, cursing, or swearing is used to gain points. A game to find who can use the most cuss words in one day. The use of f'k and other variations of such are used frequently. A generous amount of points are rewarded when one has used vowels.

Made popular by the Twilight Saga fanfiction, If Every Word I Said Could Make You Laugh (IEWIS), and continued in use in the sequel, More More More (MMM) both written by carmelinagunn (username on fanfiction.net).

"Seriously? You're proposing that we reinstate Cussin' Day?" I asked with a small laugh as I poured some lemonade into the glass I took out.

They both started laughing and Rose said, "Eh, we're pretty sure the boys made today an official Cussin' Day and we're pretty amused by it."

Cussin - meaning

Commonly thought to be a word of its own, Cussin or Cussing is saying the word "curse" with an accent.

Most common in the southern US, where the southern accent originated from Scottish/Irish dialect. Although it is most common in the south, since most people think its a word of its own, it has spread throughout the entire US.

If you say "cursing" with an Irish, Scottish, or even a British accent, it sounds similar to "cussing". Now give it a nice southern drawn and drop the G off for good measure. Cussin.
