What is controlled chaos?
In the card game Yu-Gi-Oh!, a form of deck that utilizes 'chaos monsters' and other cards to remove the opponent's monsters from play and generally wreak havoc on their deck, usually with overpowering and, usually, unstoppable 'doomsday' effects. Also known as Dimension Control
In the Traditional format, Chaos Control was king, but now that the Advanced format has banned CED, Chaos Control just isn't what it used to be, anymore.

Controlled chaos - what is it?
1) Of the Sonic games: A power that is used with a Chaos Emerald to bend time and space, either allowing you to freeze time or to warp yourself or something else instantly from one location to another. The only known possesors of this technique are Sonic the Hedgehog and Shadow the Hedgehog.
2) Of Sonic X: A force which can transport people, places, and things from one dimension to another or from one time period to another. It cannot be controlled.
Shadow: "Chaos . . . control!"
What does "controlled chaos" mean?
When shit is going on that appears to be completely and utterly cluster-fucked and without reason but for a few people things are under control.

The Usual Suspects "Keyser Söze" Controlled Chaos to his advantage.
Example two
Bob: "Holy shit! A plane just hit that building!"
Priest: "Its God's will that 2,973 people died."
Bob: "So its also God's will for you to touch boys?"
Priest: "Its not called the second coming of Jesus for no reason."
Bob: "...where do you buy your pot from?"
Priest: " Praise be unto the lord, he giveth and he taketh away!"
Controlled chaos - what does it mean?
A situation that can be described as a riot or a complete cluster fuck, but in reality, it is under the control, or at least started, by a group of insanely smart individuals (usually anarchists) in an effort to strike fear in a certain group of people (can be race, or people who live in a certain area), or for the sake of looting.
