What is chiodos?
Pronounced (Chee-Yo-dose)
six-member emo/post-hardcore band from Davison, Michigan. Formerly known as "The Chiodos Bros." before the truncation, their name was derived from brothers and directing duo, the Chiodo brothers (Charles and Stephen Chiodo)

An Incredibly awesome band. I love most of both the albums, but I did have some favorites.

What does "chiodos" mean?
an Emo/Post-hardcore band with vocals that sound like a dying squirrel. The band also possesses a shitty guitar sound. They also like to try and imitate the styles of Children of Bodom, which is metal blasphemy.
Emo: "I love Chiodos...they rock harder than CoB. These girl pants are constricting my balls."
Chiodos - what does it mean?
A band that 12 year old boys who haven't discovered rock and roll enjoy. Also a band that girls love, therefore making it pretty lame.

Chiodos - definition
A sweet punk/emo band from my hometown of Davison, MI. They almost make up for the fact that Michael Moore is from this town too.

post-hardcore, they recently released their new album
"bone palace ballet" its really great!, but it doesnt compare to "all's well that end's well"

Bone Palace Ballet came out like 2 days ago, and its better than their first album and 2 EPs which were already really good. A lot of really complex string/brass compositions and crazy guitar scales and breadkdowns with hardest screams yet, great lyrics and melodic vocals. A lot lot lot deeper and more layered than their earlier stuff. Best album yet. Their first album was All's Well That Ends Well. I dont know too much about it but it had some great songs like All Nereids Beware, Baby You Wouldnt Last A Minute On The Creek, No Hardcore Dancing In The Living Room, and To Trixie And Reptile Thanks for Everything. a bit like the newer album, but in the newer album it sounds like they really mastered their instruments. It came out June 2005 off Equal Vision records.
