What is brake pads?
A plastic block at the heel of the roller blade. Cause many injuries from careless foot posture.
Extremely dangerous, do not use if:skating backwords, going fast, doing anything beyond walking speed with roller blades!
Also called brake pads
Alec H. was rollerblading when his rollerblade brakes/brake pads hit a bump and shot him skyward, and impaled him on a nearby tree.
