What is Yence?
Slang for “making love”. Ernest Hemingway used the word on at least two occasions, when advising a friend who admitted to being a virgin and in his poem “The Soul of Spain ...” in reference to aunts. The word was used by Hemingway in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
