Someone who sticks up for a friend or person in hopes of getting something out of it other then trying to help them.
Mostly males who trys to win over the girl they're protecting, yet making the girl seem bad.

A simp whose main trait is showing respect or defending women, no matter what the situation is. The main objective is to impress the women and possibly, get pussy, at the end of the day.
They will call you a misogynist and a degenerate when they think the situation is getting out of their hands, and the person they are arguing with starts being rational.
Man I am not against women equality, but JJ is being a total White Knight without even knowing about the situation. Pretty schewpid ain't it?

White Knight - what does it mean?
a type of cockblocker

a male acquaintance of a woman who, usually motivated by jealousy, attempts to cockblock the woman by defending her (implicitly, her chastity) from another man.
Though the White Knight typically attempts to persuade the other man that the woman is "not interested," the White Knight usually is motivated to act in the first place only because he senses that the woman is attracted to the other man.
Amongst cockblockers, the White Knight is a relatively impotent type, because (i) the woman usually knows intuitively that the White Knight wants her and is motivated by his jealously, and (ii) White Knights almost always have low to moderate social skills/influence (which is why they are White Knights, because they do not get laid themselves), so the woman also knows that the White Knight's irritation is not likely to have negative social consequences for her. However, the White Knight's attempts are sometimes successful, often only because he unwittingly embodies the woman's fear of Slut Shaming (being judged), a very potent cockblocking force.
Typically, a man who behaves as a White Knight is in a pathetic state of mind. He feels for some reason that he cannot get laid, so reduces himself to trolling other men, especially men who happen to be hitting it off with women whom the White Knight has a history of fantasizing for.

A person with low self esteem who combats this with a unwavering need to aid others who may or may not need it. They usually have very isolated personal lives as they are very judgmental of others, surrounding themselves only with those who feed their desire to help and feel as a savior. Most commonly sighted in young men in regards to women, this is only a lesser form as it is usually only temporary, fading with life experience. More serious cases occur in correlation with chronic self esteem problems where the person needs to maintain a high view of themselves through self righteous acts of kindness. These people enjoy surrounding themselves with troubled individuals, who form a farm which is harvested for what they use as pseudo self esteem.
Don't give the white knight reason to flaunt his "good deeds".

1) A man who stands up for a womens right to be an absolute equal, but then steps up like a white knight to rescue her any time that equality becomes a burden.
2) A man who Promotes gender equality but practices special privilege for women.
When a woman believes she can do absolutely everything a man can do and better, but when she is asked to list something heavy as her everyday chore the white knight will come to defend her when she protests.
