What is Norfair?
A lava-filled area near the core of Planet Zebes, otherwise known as 'The Fire Zone'. The most vast and difficult area to navigate in the game. A secret passage can be found in almost every dead end along with lots of useful items.
Norfair is a dangerous and tricky area for beginners.

Norfair - what is it?
The lava filled, extremely hot section of the planet Zebes (Zebeth) in the Metroid videogame series. Deep underground, Norfair has an almost biological look to many of it's areas. It's bubble-like wall hide many secret passages but they are a tight squeeze.
