Definder - what does the word mean?

What is Kakariko?

Forested village in the land of Zelda and Link from the popular series "The Legend of Zelda". The village is populated by only children who wear the stylish green clothing (hat included). These children are also followed by fairies who guide them. These children also never age.

Link who is not a "kakariko kid" starts his adventure in this village in the game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocorina of Time". Here he obtains his sword, deku shield, fairy, and the Kokiri Emerald (and other items). This is the home of the "Great Deku Tree" which is basically the first level in Ocorina of Time.

I just talked to that one Kakariko kid. He was like eight years old!

Kakariko - what is it?

A village from the Legend of Zelda series. It appears in several games in the series and is usually where you can find generic shops and various side quests. It is generally the second largest town/city in each game in which it appears, second only to the Hyrule town square.

"I just ran over to Kakariko Village to restock on bombs, arrows and healing potions. I can't wait to bomb the Dodongo!"
