What is Hack?
A hack is someone who, for whatever the reason, does shity work, whatever that work may be. THATS IT
so all of you giving stupid specific definitions like; "a hack is someone who doesn't take the time to change the printer ink"
That, and any other example have been covered, thanks.
I hate when hacks post personal definitions on UB that have already been covered in the general definition.

What does "Hack" mean?
A "Software Engineer" that has no/limited schooling whatsoever and thinks he/she is a "Software Developer/Engineer".
a) Taking one programming class does not make you a programmer it makes you a hack.
b) Making up your own programming guidelines and automatically assuming that Microsoft is moronic makes you a hack.
c) Knowing a lot about several different programming concepts, but not following conventions makes you a hack.

Hack - definition
1. A person who has job so notorious to have faux experience and education they immediately qualify as a hack such as an aroma therapist, massage therapist, wedding planner, quantum physicist, self-prophicized shaman, sociologist adviser, color profiler or even those suspiciously expensive caterers.
2. Someone who couldn't get a job in the real world and overcharges for their self-employed services.

1) A writer/artist/movie director/etc. who does not give a shit about what they do, who just pumps it out to make a living, thus the work is uninspired and usually not very interesting.
2) To choke on something.
3) Sound made when someone chokes.
1) Some people consider Charles Bukowski to have been a hack. I say phooey to them.

Hack
A hack is a type of person, who in any sport, fouls (aka "hacks") other players incessantly. Hacks are usually slower, less able, and all around worse athletes than the people they play with. Hacks typically deny that they are hacking other players by quoting cliches such as "It's part of the game" or "Football is a physical sport", etc. Hacks also get into fights often, since they are fouling, and thus angering, other players, but denying the act. Hacks are also, ironically, the ones who call the most fouls, especially if you push/hack them back.
Person 1:"Man, every time I try to cut, he grabs my arm!"
