Definder - what does the word mean?

What is God Mod?

Under god modding, is a one of a kind really it's someone who god mods, and a new type of form, mainly by coming up with utter "bullshit", on the spot with roleplaying {EX} and as you can tell within the EX, the line of "My character, my rules", is the bullshit part about it, as 'Person A', stated "Didn't you say he couldn't run very fast?" right after 'Person B', said "My character is actually able to run at INF speed", not only is running that fast god modding, but it adds to the bullshit

Person A: Attacks person B, with a fast attack
Person B: OK out of roleplay my character is actually able to run at INF speed
Person A: But, didn't you say he couldn't run very fast before?
Person B: My character my rules, on their powers
Person A: Wow, "under god modding" much?

What does "God Mod" mean?

The mod god is a 6’4” 300+ pound buff Mexican man, originating out of Orting, WA.

The mod god is something of a tale, or a myth in the small Orting community, he’s known for his major dank OHS bathroom hotboxes.

In the mod god’s free time he enjoys drinking Cranberry juice and dapping up the homies, the mod god has a golden aura and is hard to miss, an absolutely beautiful specimen.

To spot the mod god in public, is equal to spotting michael jackson walking the earth after death, or comparable to discovering time travel.

Hey dude, did you see the Mod God’s latest cloud?

God Mod - meaning

Where a person makes up or dodges everything that a person attacks with them. This term is used in RPs (Role Play).

1. Annoying to people and extremely frustrating
2. What people call noobs tend to use if they are used to rp yet.
3. Over-used

Here is an example of god modding (I wil be using my my rp charcters)
Goldie: teleports and kicks Alex in the head
Alex: dodges Goldie's kick and flips him breaking his leg

Goldie: teleports and punches Alex in the head
Alex: Before Goldie punches him he grabs is arm and uses a magic dust that puts him under his control and orders him to snap his and he dies

You see what Ales did there. He first blocked his kick and flipped him and then used "Before she/he ___" and used something to put him in his control to make him win even though, my character, Alex doesn't use magic powders or dusts he uses a Katana

God Mod - slang

A term used in role-playing games or situations that describes someone as using an over powered emote that allows them to feat any RP obstacle thrown at them.

**This term is often over used and misunderstood, due to the fact that it can be confused with an other meaning of the word "God Modding", which is a bannable high powered in-game hack that allows that particular player unbelievable power in the game, such as invulnerability, extreme damage and possibly the ability to Noclip (fly).

Example of God Modding as can be seen In-Game

Gothran is surrounded on all sides by enemies.

Gothran pulls a gnomish grenade out of his pocket, throwing it down. He puts a shield on protecting him from the blast while the grenade blows all his enemies back! He then calls his noble dragon and quickly rides off into the distance cackling!

God Mod

The term god modding comes from roleplaying. God modding is creating a character who is of an invincible nature and can do anything. God modders are also infamous for bunnying other characters' actions.

An example of god modding is making a spikey blonde hair character that can fly and toss energy balls that can level cities while being nigh indestructable.

God Mod

It's a term used in rps that is used when someone does an action/actions that are impossible to defend against. It is also used when someone describes how the other person is affected by it, thus leaving the player unable to rp his/her own character.

For fighting, it's being able to dodge everything and always hit your opponent. For other things, like using something that takes over someone's mind, it's saying that you take over their mind and do this or that to them without allowing them to figure out if they can defend against it.

Being a God Modder is a sign of douch baggedry and makes it to where other player's do not want to rp with you.

Fighting: person A dodged person B sword attack, and then dodged the lightning bolt from the sky that person B cast. Person A then Hit's person B, sending person B flying, then hit's person B with a huge fire bolt, thus burning person B.

Person A wins the fight and harms person B because person A made it impossible to hit him, then he made it to where B was affected by everything.

Mental: person A cast's a spell on person B, now person B is under person A's control. Person A then tells person B to go commit suicide, person B is now dead.

Person A get's rid of person B do to god modding because they forced the other person to be affected by it and say how B reacted without letting B do anything.

God Mod

"God Modding" is in essence when someone’s character has the ability to do practically anything without limits or boundaries. And example is when they simply cannot be harmed by any and all means other RP-ers try.

-It can be killing or injuring a character without the player's express permission.
-It can be when they simply can’t be hit and dodge all attacks or anything for this matter aimed at them.
-It can also be using other characters that other people RP with. In other words, if you do not RP as
Legolas, then you cannot have Legolas say anything, or do anything, without the player's express permission.

The absolute worst is when they make out another character to be what they’re not, just to make their own character seem superior. They make others seem weak, screaming for help, when they’ve made it quite clear about their advantages and strengths. This is called power-play. It’s a strain of God-Modding, but instead of just being irritating, it’s offensive to boot.

This is a prime example of God Modding:

Player A: Punches Player B
Player B: Dodges attack, grabs Player A and throws him. Player A flies at Player B, who warps behind him and slashes Player A in the back.
