To set fire to oneself in order to kill bad guys all around you, like the guy from lord of the rings.
I was playing "Left 4 Dead" and the zombies all crowded around me, I decided to Denethor it with a molotov cocktail.
What does "Denethor" mean?
The steward of Gondor. Son of Ectelion, his two sons are Boromir (deceased) and Faramir. He dies in The Return of the King, when he tries to burn him and his son, Faramir, to death.
