The 41st president of the United States, used to distinguish him from his son Bush43
The presidency of Bush41 was notable for a failed economic policy, recession and the first Gulf War (Bush war). Bush41 vetoed the family leave act and then took off work to visit his own dying mother. Fortunately he lost to Bill Clinton in 1992.
