A group of 5 people who sit and watch sci-fi shows, such as Star Trek, B5, Stargate, Battlestar Galactica, etc., all the way through from the pilot to the series finale.

What does "Babylon 5" mean?
A wonderful, wonderful Sci-fi program, most probably the best one out there. It has the most realistic acting characters(and by that i mean ones who aren't all good or all bad) and is the most probable representation of what the future would be like.

Babylon 5 - what does it mean?
Our last, best hope for peace. The Last of the Babylon stations. Babylon 5 was a dream given form, a five mile long diplomatic station built to help races sort out their differences peacfully. Babylon 5 would serve as a nexus; from the station the Army of Light fought the Shadows and the Vorlons, the Earth Civil war was largely succesful due to the staff and ambassadors on the station, and the station aided G'kar in freeing his people from Centauri rule.
