What does "2 and a 5" mean?
In English, it is translated to "2 times 5". (Which sounds like a math equation)
But the meaning is to say that someone or a group of people that they're basically doing the same thing as someone else.
Usually a bad thing.
It could mean: "They're all just the same."
Here's how you use this:
In Malay:
A: 2 kali 5 ja durang ni.
A: Janganlah kamu cakap-cakap lagi- sia tau kamurang semua salah juga ni.
In English (for the sake of translation):
A: They're all just the same. (2 kali 5)
A: No need to say more- I know you're all in the wrong.
2 and a 5 - what does it mean?
A joke that nerds usually make about the rounding of numbers. If you do 2.3 rounded (2) + 2.4 rounded (2), you get 4.7 which rounds to 5.
And because humans are imperfect, we are never able to make exact precision on anything. This means, that anything we do, we are doing some kind of rounding/estimation at some point. So, this means that 2 + 2 = 5 but only for very large values of 2.
2.36 rounded = 2
2.44 rounded = 2
4.8 rounded = 5
2.36 + 2.44 = 4.8

A reference to 1984; signifies somebody has been completly whipped/controled to the point that the person believes/will do anything the whipee/controler tells them. Usually used to mock a friend who has decided to pass up a night with the friends to go do something incredibly gay with their signifcant other.
It's also the title to a radiohead song

2+2=5 comes from the book "1984", where the Government had so deeply trained society to instantly, without thought, accept any official statement as true and instantly erase the past (2+2=4). Harkens to the Marxist belief that the State is the ultimate truth and individuals with an alternate "truth" are dissidents. Some employers and leaders also fall into this belief that reality is nothing but paradigms despite empiric facts offered by "not a team player" people.

A term used a lot in the streets in the early 90's by those that hustled d r u g s for loot. It's exactly what it sounds like.. Your getting 2 pieces (mainly crack viles) for Five dollars.
It became common later as a joke.
"Yo sun, I got's 2 for 5 for these jumbs..." (jumbs was another word used for crack)
